So you just booked your new brows... how do you prepare?

2-3 Weeks Before Appointment

Botox should be done over 3 weeks prior or 4 weeks after

No facial procedures 14 days before appointment (this includes laser, chemical peels, surgeries, etc)

No sun or tanning within one week of appointment

Refrain from using products with active acids (AHA/BHA) or retinol/vitamin A close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior (sometimes these ingredients are added into face creams)

Cannot be on blood thinning medication or antibiotics within 2 weeks of appointment

1-3 Days Before Appointment

No waxing, threading, or tinting 3 days before procedure

No Aspirin, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil, CoQ10 and Advil 48 hours before - if needed, Tylenol can be used

No alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before

No heavy workout the day of your appointment as this will expand the pores
-
Come to your appointment with freshly washed hair to avoid wetting your brows after your appointment
